About us

"A space for true empowerment in an age of acceleration"

Hi, I’m Kerryn Kohl, Founder and Director of Life Online. Life Online is the beginning of a long-held vision: to create a space for true empowerment.
A place where people can pause, reflect, reset, reclaim, and rebuild. A place that honours the wholeness of who they are, while offering the context-specific tools, insights, and learning needed to navigate life and leadership with greater clarity and intention.

Our Vision

We are not here to 'help'. We exist to equip and empower, because people are more than capable of helping themselves. Most often, what we need is simply the right conditions. The right question at the right time, a perspective shared at the right moment, an article, a course. Something that causes us to pause, and in that pause, something shifts. It is a moment when confusion gives way to understanding. When overwhelm gives way to direction. When someone reconnects with their own strength, sees their situation differently, and can move forward with greater clarity and confidence. Our Vision for Life Online is to be a place that provides these conditions for transformation.
Mission and Focus
We are living through a time of profound disruption. AI is reshaping work, leadership, capability, identity, and the future of life itself at a pace that many individuals and organisations are struggling to absorb. The challenge is not only technological. It is human, cultural, personal, and deeply practical. Life Online exists to equip people and organisations to navigate disruption, build capability, and thrive in an AI-accelerated world.
Discover More
When I first imagined this place for wellbeing, it was always physical. I saw a brick-and-mortar place where people could gather, reflect, learn, grow, and access what they needed for the next stage of their lives.
Today, that same vision is taking shape in digital form.
Life Online is that place, reimagined for the world we now live in: digital, connected, complex, and fast-moving. It is a space where people can pause, reflect, reset, reclaim, and rebuild. A place to reconnect with what matters most. A place to access thoughtful resources, meaningful learning, fresh perspectives, and practical tools for change.
Technology has made this vision more possible than ever. It allows us to create a space that can meet people where they are, in the midst of real life, and offer support that is both accessible and deeply human.
Whole Person, Context-Specific Support
Why Life Online offers two pathways
At the heart of Life Online is a simple belief: people are whole.
We do not live in neat categories. We are not one person at work and another person at home. We lead in boardrooms and in kitchens. We carry our beliefs, values, histories, aspirations, and struggles into every role we hold.
While we recognise the wholeness of each person, we equally understand that the contexts in which they live and lead call for different tools, insights, and forms of support.
That is why Life Online offers two pathways:
  • For Leaders and Organisations — focused on capability, culture, leadership, and the human side of AI transformation.

  • For Individuals — focused on intentional living, meaning, wellbeing, and the practices that help people live well, lead well, and be well
These are not separate worlds. They are different expressions of one integrated philosophy: that human flourishing, leadership, learning, and wellbeing are deeply connected.

Change is not coming...it's here... and it's accelerating!

Change doesn’t happen through frameworks; it happens when people feel safe, supported, informed, and empowered to move. That’s why we approach transformation as three interconnected systems. Each essential, each reinforcing the other. When one shifts, the others follow.

Adapt | Adopt | Thrive.

Adapt

Understanding where change can begin
  • Real change starts with truth—not assumptions.
  • We begin by deeply understanding where an organisation is now and where its people are—individually and collectively. Through audits, discovery sessions, and honest conversations, we surface what’s really holding progress back.
  • This includes:

  • Assessing organisational and individual readiness
  • Identifying cultural, structural, and behavioural blockers
  • Exploring what people need to feel safe enough to change
  • Distinguishing symptoms from root causes

Adapt is about creating the conditions for change—clarity, trust, and alignment—so what follows has something solid to stand on.

Adopt

Turning insight into action
  • Insight alone doesn’t create momentum. Adoption does.
  • In this phase, we translate intention into practical, scalable action—embedding change into how people lead, work, and make decisions.
  • This includes:

  • Scaled adoption strategies and tool enablement
  • Change management and communication
  • Organisational and process design
  • Leadership development
  • Individual sessions on purpose, meaning, and career direction
  • Human Index insights to guide where energy and effort matter most
Adopt is where change becomes real—not as a one-off initiative, but as a lived experience.

Thrive

Sustaining change that grows with you
  • Change isn’t something you “finish.”
  • It’s something you learn to live with—and evolve through.
  • Thrive focuses on embedding change so it strengthens over time, rather than fading once the program ends.
  • This includes:

  • Monitoring and refining adoption strategies
  • Continuous learning and capability development
  • Feedback loops and open communication
  • Communities of practice
  • Ongoing leadership development
Thrive is where transformation becomes capability—and capability becomes confidence.

"When organisations honour both systems and humans, change stops feeling forced. It becomes natural. Sustainable. Even energising. We don’t just help organisations change. We help them architect the capability to change—again and again."

Why Life Online

Most consultants talk about the future. At Life Online we design it! By architecting the capabilities that make it possible. Our mission is to unlock the full potential of intelligence, human and Artificial, harmonising their capabilities in what we call C'ynergy (cognitive synergy).

Our expertise intersects three rare domains:

1. Capability architecture 2. Artificial intelligence in talent systems 3. Human-centred leadership philosophy
We provide strategic advisory for organisations navigating transformation, and curated experiences for individuals ready to redesign their future with clarity and confidence.
"No generation has ever consciously directed its own evolution. Yet this is what we are now asking of ourselves. To evolve rapidly — despite the fear of obsolescence. Meeting this moment requires more than digital adoption. It requires redesigning our organisations, leadership and lifestyles so humans can thrive alongside intelligent systems."

Our Motto

The Peacock, a Colour, and a Surprising Hidden Connection

Not the safest choices for a serious website. Not the most strategic. I was warned that it wouldn't translate. That a peacock screams self-importance, ego - "Peacocking." I was told that no serious business would use a 'soft' colour like teal or such a 'silly' 'grandious' bird, but I felt compelled. Not the safest choice, not a strategic choice, but authentic, real. true.
The peacock imagery is an invitation. An invitation to look deeper, to see more than what is on display. For centuries, this beautifully feathered bird has been a symbol of transformation, vision, and renewal across every culture that ever encountered it. It sheds its magnificent feathers every year, not in loss, but in becoming, as they grow back more vivid than before. The 'eye' on each feather symbolises awareness, protection and vision -both seeing and of being seen.
The colour teal has its own meaning. Teal is the colour that lives between two worlds, the calm depth of blue and the vital growth of green. The colour of clear thinking, deep trust, and conscious change. Similar to the peacock, it represents transformation, resilience, and redirection. And as if any further confirmation were even necessary, it was named the global Colour of the Year for 2026.
Surprisingly, or perhaps even synchronistically, I discovered a deeper connection between the bird and the colour. The name of the colour "teal" comes from a small duck, whose defining feature is the vivid stripe of colour around its eye, and the peacock's most iconic feature is the eye on every feather. Two separate symbols, chosen instinctively, yet "c'ynergistically" connected. Both symbolic of the core work we undertake - to have the vision to build what is next - to architect Capability for an AI-Accelerated world. Kerryn
